Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit the RHODEX website. The site has no accounts, forms, newsletter or shop, and never asks for your name or contact details.
What the site collects
The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
Like every website, it is delivered by servers that keep short-lived technical logs of each request, including your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps these logs to run and secure the site.
Your location
The store locator has a “Use my location” button. When you press it, your browser asks for your permission first. If you allow it, your position is used on your device to sort stores by distance and to move the map. It is not sent to us and it is not stored.
While the map shows your area, your browser loads map images of that area from Mapbox.
Searching for a place
When you type a town or postcode into the store locator, the text is sent to Mapbox to find matching places, along with your IP address, which Mapbox uses to rank nearby results first. We do not keep your searches.
The map
The map is provided by Mapbox. Loading it sends Mapbox your IP address and details of your browser, and Mapbox collects information about how the map is used. Mapbox’s own privacy policy covers that information.
Links to other sites
Directions open Google Maps, and our social links open Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct it. As set out above, the site itself keeps none beyond the hosting logs. To ask, message RHODEX on social media.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does with information changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
